Circular, 2008
Single-channel video installation
This video is a culmination of a public video and drawing project at Seattle Center that ran from November 2007 through January 2008. During a series of free public workshops, the project involved video capture of over 150 members of the public drawing or painting circles under the premise of exploring the 'perfect circle'. The video footage was edited, compiled, and projected on the back wall of the gallery after each workshop. After the project came to an end, the video was re-edited to include all the participants and the circles drawn. The above clip is an excerpt of the completed project.
